GymYuz in your AI assistant: ask, plan and log in ChatGPT or Claude

GymYuz keeps your training log. Your AI assistant is where you already think out loud about it. The connection joins the two: the assistant reads your real sets, builds routines and the weekly plan from them after you have seen a preview, and logs a set when you say done. Nothing is copied by hand, and nothing you say inside the assistant is sold back to you there.

It works in ChatGPT and in Claude, the same way in both. This guide says what the connection does, what it never does, and what it costs.

What your assistant can do

  • Answer from your numbers. Ask what to bench today and the answer comes from last week’s sets, not from a generic table. Ask for a comparison, a trend or your best lift and it reads the same analysis the app shows.
  • Build routines and the weekly plan. Describe the split you want and the assistant drafts it from your own exercises. You see a preview first, then say save, and it lands in GymYuz as a normal routine or plan.
  • Log without the app open. Tell it a set is done, note a pain report or a check-in, and GymYuz records it. The coach’s next session is one question away.
  • Stay in step. Everything saved from the assistant shows in the app with a small mark, so you always know what came from where.

What it can see, and what it never sees

When you connect, the consent page on gymyuz.app lists exactly what the assistant may read: your workouts, routines, body weight, measurements, notes, check-ins and pain reports. It never sees your photos or other media, your devices, or the locations of the places you train. You can end the connection from the same page or from Connected apps in GymYuz, and an older connection is closed when you make a new one.

The assistant’s own answers stay with the assistant. GymYuz keeps what you asked it to save, and nothing else.

ChatGPT

Open Connected apps in GymYuz, choose ChatGPT, and follow the sign-in on gymyuz.app. Approve the connection once. From then on, ask ChatGPT about your training the way you would ask a coach who has your log open.

ChatGPT never shows a price, an upgrade button or a purchase link. If your account needs Pro, it says so plainly and points you to the app.

Claude

The same steps: Connected apps in GymYuz, choose Claude, sign in on gymyuz.app and approve the connection once. The same consent page, the same list of what it can see, the same preview before anything is saved. Each assistant is its own connection, so you can use both, and ending one leaves the other in place.

The free week and Pro

The connection is part of GymYuz Pro, with the coach and sync across your devices. The first time an account connects, it gets seven days of Pro at no cost, once per account. After the week, Pro continues from the app on the yearly, monthly, Founders or lifetime plan; the prices are on the home page under Free and Pro. The logger itself stays free, with no account and no ads.
